1, 2, Row! 1, 2, Row!.. Wazzup Symphodragons..
Still suffering from post-Watershock syndromes? Fret not, Symphonia's Marketing Department has uploaded a collage of pictures taken during this event for your pleasant viewing and boy, was the weather hot enuff to tan the bandits! Fortunately, our true-blue bandit tee has given us some cool-ness to chill =)
2005, Symphonia sent 1 team. 2006, Symphonia sent 2 teams. Not to win, but to bond and to have fun. Come next year, maybe 3? Haha. And guess what? Both Team 1 & 2 got the exact same timing. How accurate can that be! 2.22 min. 22 rowers. Symph's lucky no.?
Alright, perhaps we should start training, and hit the gyms more often! Afterall, how many bands in Singapore actually take part in Dragon Boat competitions or running events such as New Balance Real Run? Well, if you think that's not enough, we're sending a team for StandChart's 42k Marathon.. Callin' all S'pore bands.. Beat ThaT, man!
Arts & Cultural Fest 2006
Okay, on a side note, Symphonia will be performing the first item for Arts Fest 2006 happening next week in SMU! So our practice this coming Friday is of utmost importance, if you want to perform with us. Well if you have class or can't make it, at least come find us while you go for your 15min toilet break? Yes, we'll be performing around 3-4 pieces of light, pop pieces for a good 15 minutes! So calling all Symphomembers or SMUdents, do come down and support us ya!
